TRUTH ABOUT LIES: TIWA SAVAGE’S MARRIAGE MELODRAMA

At first relationship pendulum decide to shy away from the tug of accusations, words ensuing between superstar Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz who doubles as her husband and manager, but as the drama becomes tenser  and The allegations brought on a lot of heat and discussions on social media, with many polarizing opinions being offered. We have decided to give bit by bit account of the incident. Enjoy!

According to tiwa, the current face-off and break up is an issue that she has foreseen a long time ago

“I have covered up for a lot of hurt in our relationship. I was in Jamaica recently and just before then, I found out I was pregnant again and we discussed it and we were trying to find out how we would manage the situation. That morning, I was supposed to do the shoot, I started bleeding uncontrollably. I panicked and I called him. I took pictures and sent to him. I passed out and I was rushed to hospital. I had complications. I tried to reach him and I couldn’t get him. I was discharged from the hospital and I still tried to reach him, he didn’t call to find out what happened.

“I got back to Nigeria, I was sleeping and somebody was calling him. He saved the number as ‘Edible caterer’, I wondered why a catering service would be calling him at 2am. As a woman, I picked it up and I went though his phone and I saw a long whatsapp conversation with the same person that has the number saying ‘can we meet at the hotel?’  The last message I saw was that she said ‘I had to leave at 7am, you were sleeping when I left. He responded with ‘wow, because you knocked me out last night. It was a great night’.

“ I woke him up and I asked him what was going on. I asked him if this happened on our bed, he said it was in a hotel. I asked him if he took another woman to a hotel and he said yes but nothing happened that they were chilling. He wanted me to believe that. The thing that hurt me most was that this happened when I was in Jamaica and I was in the hospital. He was busy in a hotel while I was in a hospital and he couldn’t find out what happened to me. At this point, I packed my stuff and took my son and went to my friend’s house. She asked me what is the next step and I told her I was done.” Tiwa said in an emotional  video interview made available on Pulse.ng.com.

The question one should as at this stage is could the external affair Tee Billz have be the cause of his social media accusation; if he needed a space to go to his ‘external wife” is it enough or reason for him to stain Tiwa’s reputation or could he be saying the truth? Before we answer the above questions may be we should take a look at all Teebillz accusations through twitter:

In this first tweet Teebiz accuses Tiwa’s mum into the story, subtly accusing her of being the one behind his marriage crisis and whatever ill-luck he is (may be) currently facing, just as she did to Tiwa’s Dad! And the second tweet (right) he explains how he struggled in a Spiritual battle; which I guess was hereditary (could this be responsible for this current breakup?). well he further hinted that he transited from family battle to mother-in-law’s battle; that is tiwasavage’s mother was given him a tough time(spiritual), could this be the reason for his external affairs?

Here tee is saying that he left the music industry because of his wife( what a sacrifices). But then he recalled how he couldn’t perform his duty as the head of the family and our his mother-in-law humiliated him (what type of humiliation is unknown to us here). He also hinted that he could have divorced tiwa but didn’t want to end up like his father who married 4times. Hmm!

Sigh! The Omawunmi here should be the one we know. Here teebillz  recalled how friendly  her husband is. Teebillz also thanked Annie Idibia and Anita for always playing the role of Tiwa.

Rather contradictory, Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid, and even 2face whose wife was helping Tiwa cook meals for him ( Teebillz) all allegedly slept with Tiwa.

And finally he through the bomb shell, he wants to commit suicide!

Although teebillz at first said his account was hacked and that everything above wasn’t really, until when most of his friends indirectly confirmed the situation in teebillz’s home and his wife also granted pulsetv an impromptu interview.

First in the interview, tiwa first confirm the suicide in the above tweet through one of her statement:

“I just wanted him to be found and make sure he was okay. I couldn’t respond to anything because I didn’t know the extent of what he had said because somebody had actually taken my phone away because they didn’t want me to see what was said online. I was just scared for his life, I was just panicking.  We were in my bedroom, It was around 11am that Banky’s mum came and we were praying. I know his family in LA were praying as well. We got the call that he was found on Lekki Bridge and he was brought to Banky’s house.”- Tiwa said

After this, Tiwa in the interview (on PulseTv), shared her own side of the story as she began to counter every accusations leveled against her by her husband.

First she countered the part that Billz said he quitted music for her sake, saying that her husband was stealing from her and that made her sack him as her manager.

Our policy is that you don’t go for event until you are paid in full. He booked me for a show in London and I was already in London. I called the accountant to find out if the people had paid and he said no. I called Tee J and I told him they had not paid and he said I should go ahead and perform. So I pulled the guy aside and asked him what was happening  as per payment and he asked me what I  was  talking about that they had paid about four months ago and they paid into Tee J’s personal account. They even paid more than what Tee J declared. He didn’t feel anything, he was stealing from his wife. He didn’t see it as stealing. I had to perform at the wedding for free.”

 “It is not my fault that he has been struggling financially. But he messed up, he started stealing from me. I wanted to save my marriage and I had to separate business from family. He wants to live a life that is not true. He went to buy a Mercedes that he didn’t have the money for. He paid for it in part and I ended up paying the balance because the owner of the car was calling. I didn’t want people to look down on my man. I wanted people to feel that my husband is taking care of me. I put the money in his account so that people would think he paid for things but he went and bought a Rolex watch and he still didn’t pay for the car. People were always threatening me because of his debts. I would always find a way to find money to pay up the debts, he was clubbing and spending money on drinks and he would leave the tab and they will call me and I will pay.”

Concerning the allegation that she had slept with some musicians including Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid and Tuface, Tiwa swore she was never unfaithful to her husband.

“I will say for the records, I have never cheated on my husband, NEVER! Not with Don Jazzy, Tuface, Dr. Sid, not with anybody and I am willing to take a lie detector test for this. He knows this is true. (She breaks down in tears)

Although according to GISTMANIA a source pointed out that there is some iota of lie in what Tiwa said. Below is GISTMANIA’s account

A source in the know, exclusively revealed to GISTMANIA that Tiwa’s relationship with Don Jazzy ended before her marriage to Teebillz and her affair with 2Face was a one-time thing which also happened a long time ago so Tunji bringing it up was a desperate need for points.

Though Teebillz accused his wife of also sleeping with label mate Dr Sid, the source said it isn’t possible. In her own words: “Dr Sid ba wo? Maybe he was the one buying the condoms for Don Jazzy.”

Though reports of Tiwa allegedly sleeping with money bags in Nigeria in order to advance her career were prevalent years ago, the source insinuated that her manager and fiance at the time, knew about it and she opened up to him about all her previous relationships but he thought he could handle it.

According to the source:

“Honestly, they are both lying and it’s okay so you demonic bloggers don’t take advantage of the situation. Fact is, they both knew what they were getting into. He beat her up many times and she took it because they both had dirt on each other. I particularly was mad at Tiwa way before she even agreed to marry him. Heck, he was fraudulent way before his coming back to Nigeria. What ruined his relationship with Sauce Kid and co? His other baby mama nko? Go and ask. Ask the big boys in LA about Tee Billions and you will hear his gist. Bi-polar oshi wo? He is toxic, leave his mental issues out of it. Bringing a baby into the toxic relationship pissed off most of us.”

It’s unclear why Tiwa Savage decided to settle for a society wedding with her alleged pimp and abuser, but the source who is close to the couple claims age was probably the reason as it can’t be love.

The source further revealed their marriage almost ended months after they got married, adding that Tiwa discovered her husband was spending her money on things they don’t need. Also Teebillz allegedly kept blackmailing her about her extra-marital affairs. He kept hanging her alleged relationship with oil magnate, Femi Otedola, over her head.

According to the source:

“He accused her of sleeping with Otedola in the early months of her pregnancy. He slapped and locked her out when she was pregnant due to stories of the affair. She never told us if she indeed slept with the man but her husband kept hammering on it. Even if she did, why didn’t he just walk? Let me answer that, he’s broke and in debt and needs that Otedola money.”

GISTMANIA also gathered that the couple abused substances during the course of their relationship. Its unclear if Tiwa was around drugs during her pregnancy, but another source claims they both abused illicit substances.

The source said:

“While Teebillz was blowing money on women, booze and coke, Tiwa was smoking fish. Abeg make she no lie. Yes, the guy get craze for head, but Tiwa sef mental.”
Tiwa who has opened up on issues in their marriage has confirmed most of these allegations. We only hope they do what is best for their baby’s sake.
